Surface protection
- Pile-lifting action
- Brush selection matched to the surface
- Controlled solution application
- Method tested on an inconspicuous area where needed
Cleaning mechanism
Counter-rotating cylindrical brushes.
The Duplex 420 uses two cylindrical brushes rotating in opposite directions at 650 RPM. This creates a cleaning action that lifts and separates carpet fibres while simultaneously agitating embedded soils.
- Forward brush lifts fibres and loosens surface dirt
- Rear brush deep-cleans and restores pile direction
- 420mm coverage ensures uniform cleaning across the width
Extraction process
Instant water recovery.
The Duplex 420 applies solution, agitates the surface, and recovers spent solution during the cleaning process. Drying still depends on surface, airflow, temperature, humidity, and technique.
- 01
During the pass
Counter-rotating brushes agitate the surface while the machine collects loosened soil and spent solution.
- 02
After the pass
We inspect visible condition, identify areas needing another pass, and confirm the expected drying and return-to-use time.
Surface benefits
Preservation and productivity.
Carpet preservation
- Agitates carpet pile with counter-rotating brushes
- Recovers spent solution during the cleaning pass
- Brush and solution selected for the fibre
- Existing wear and damage recorded before treatment
Operational benefits
- Solution application and recovery in one machine pass
- Drying time assessed for the surface and site conditions
- Work can be sequenced around occupied areas
- Compact 420mm working width
Integrated system
Part of a three-stage restoration.
The Duplex 420 works in sequence with our other technologies to deliver comprehensive substrate restoration.
- 01
Lindhaus pre-treatment
High-velocity grit extraction removes abrasive particles before wet cleaning.
- 02
Duplex deep clean
Cylindrical brush action removes embedded soils with instant extraction.
- 03
TechnoVap sanitisation
Dry-steam detail treatment is added where the substrate and service scope support it.

What does the Duplex 420 do that mops cannot?
The Duplex 420 uses counter-rotating cylindrical brushes to agitate grout lines and textured surfaces while recovering loosened soil and spent solution. Cleaning can improve a soiled floor's condition, but Bonza Clean does not formally classify or verify slip resistance.
